Automotive Level 1 Training Package for Sierra Leone
The unit standard and curriculum module “Automotive Level 1” are part of the training package by the National Council for Technical, Vocational and Other Academic Awards (NCTVA) in partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the government of Japan. The training package aims to contribute to providing quality education and training in Sierra Leone, specifically in the automotive industry. The training package received national accreditation and is the first proper competency-based automotive curriculum for Sierra Leone.
The Automotive Level 1 unit focuses on the competencies required to plan and organize tasks, including implementing work instructions, sequencing work tasks and working effectively in a team.
