Automotive Level 1 Training Material Package for Sierra Leone
The training material package “Automotive Level 1 Training Material Package for Sierra Leone” is the first component supporting the nationally accredited competency-based automotive curriculum developed by the National Council for Technical, Vocational and Other Academic Awards (NCTVA) in partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Government of Japan. As part of Sierra Leone’s first proper competency-based automotive training system, this package introduces trainees to basic workshop practices, safety procedures and routine vehicle maintenance.
The Automotive Level 1 unit focuses on the competencies required to plan and organize tasks, including implementing work instructions, sequencing work tasks and working effectively in a team.
