UNIDO Welcomes its First Private Sector Partner-Expert
UNIDO and Festo Didactic announce the appointment of Mr. Angora Aman as Partner-Expert at UNIDO.

Vienna, September 22nd 2023 – UNIDO and Festo Didactic are proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Angora Aman as Partner-Expert at UNIDO. Mr. Aman’s assignment results from the recent signing by the two organizations of a memorandum of agreement – loaning to UNIDO Mr. Aman’s expertise for a one-year term. Based in Cote d’Ivoire, he took office as Vocational Training Expert reporting to UNIDO’s Skills Development and Fair Production Unit (IET/PST/SFP).
With ten years of experience in managing teams across multiple sectors, Aman has demonstrated paramount dedication to empower young Africans in science and technology by fostering their leadership skills. During the next twelve months, he will provide technical expertise and advisory services to UNIDO colleagues and counterparts, in particular in support to the implementation of the UNIDO Programme for Country Partnership (PCP) in Cote d’Ivoire and of skills development projects in Africa.
This innovative partnership modality comes within UNIDO and Festo Didactic’s longstanding collaboration on matters pertaining to technical education, skills development and youth employability. To date, this cooperation has materialized by several successful partnership projects, e.g. or such as implemented in Uruguay and Morocco and focusing respectively on agro-industrial and water skills.
