STEP 7: Establish Career Service Offices
This is step 7 in a step-by-step toolkit that explains the initial steps of implementing Public Private Development Partnership projects that focus on technical vocational skills training. The steps in this 8 part toolkit are likely to take place within the first 12 months of project implementation.
In order to increase the employability of students, a career service office (CSO) should be established within the host vocational training center. The CSO staff will provide student counselling, will help students find internship placements and will assist them in their transition into the workforce.
