For the past 50 years, UNIDO has been providing dedicated assistance in order to mobilize the knowledge, skills, and expertise necessary to meet these challenges. As a specialized agency of the United Nations system – and through UNIDO’s mandate to achieve inclusive and sustainable industrial development (ISID) – we are able to leverage our technical know-how to design, develop and implement programs to assist countries affected by crisis. We are currently providing post-crisis assistance to 25 countries located in Africa, Asia and the Pacific, and the Middle East and North Africa.

This booklet provides a short and non-exhaustive introduction to some of UNIDO’s projects during the past few years, which would not have been possible without help from our donors and partners. We invite all interested parties to join our efforts to improve the lives of people affected by crisis.
