MISALE Factsheet
Under a Private Public Development Partnership (PPDP), UNIDO has collaborated with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), Volvo Group, Selam Children’s Village (SCV) and the Ministry of Transport and Logistics to support the establishment of MISALE, a model academy for the training of trainers and commercial vehicle drivers in Ethiopia.
This strategic approach is designed to meet the escalating demand from private sector companies, constituting an important step towards reducing the alarmingly high level of on-the-road traffic accidents in the country.
